Foligno hopes for return

The Senators hope to get at least one of their walking wounded back in to action tomorrow night when they host the Colorado Avalanche.

Winger Nick Foligno, who had knee surgery earlier this month, skated with the Senators today and might be back in the lineup Wednesday night at Scotiabank Place.

Foligno has missed seven games after having an arthroscopic procedure. A decision won't be made until after tomorrow's morning skate.

"We'll have to see how it goes. If I come in tomorrow and I'm not feeling too great the doctors will make me take it off," said Foligno. "I hope I feel well and I hope I get the chance to play. I feel pretty good, but it's not my call."

If Foligno does play, then Ryan Keller is expected to be sent back to the club's AHL affiliate in Binghamton.

Winger Jarkko Ruutu wasn't on the ice for practice today, but is expected to play.

The Senators are coming off a come-from-behind 4-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Monday night.
