NEWARK, N.J. -- Senators centre Mike Fisher has become the latest key player to be knocked out of the lineup by an injury.

He left practice early yesterday and was not on the ice for the morning skate here at the Prudential Center. The Senators said after practice he will not be in the lineup against the New Jersey Devils here tonight.

The club has called up forward Ryan Keller from its Binghamton farm club and he arrived here in time to practice with the team.

Fisher said this morning he suffered the injury in practice Tuesday and that he will be out on a day-to-day basis.

"It's just a fluke thing. I think it's something that should settle down. I've never had (this injury) before, but it should be okay," he said.

The Senators are already missing No. 1 goaltender Pascal Leclaire with a broken cheekbone and one of their top defenders, Anton Volchenkov, for tonight's match.

Here's how the lines looked at the morning skate:

Michalek-Spezza-Shannon

Foligno-Regin-Alfredsson

Ruutu-Kelly-Neil

Cheechoo-Winchester-Keller

If Ryan Getzlaf cannot play in the Olympics due to injury, which player should replace him on Team Canada's roster?
