Senators make changes
Winchester returns, Regin outBy BRUCE GARRIOCH, SUN MEDIA
Peter Regin will be taking a seat for the Battle of Ontario. The Senators centre, who doesn't have a point in nine straight games and has been serving as the club's third-line centre, is going to be a healthy scratch for tonight's game at Scotiabank Place. Centre Jesse Winchester will return to the lineup. That won't be the only switch that coach Cory Clouston will make. Winger Nick Foligno is going to skate with Alexei Kovalev and Mike Fisher. "We've just got to bury our chances," said centre Mike Fisher. "Hopefully we can start finding the net and getting that confidence back." The Senators say they are ready for the challenge of facing the Leafs. "Speed, aggressive play and in your face. You add a guy like (Phil) Kessel, he wasn't there last time we played them. They're a dangerous team," said Clouston. As expected, goaltender Pascal Leclaire will make the start. "We play seven in 12 nights. Pascal is our No. 1 goalie. He needs to play," said Clouston. Ryan Shannon will also be a healthy scratch for the second straight game.
