The status quo will remain tonight at Scotiabank Place.
The Senators won't be making any changes which means forwards Peter Regin (shoulder) and Jesse Winchester (right knee) won't be in the lineup against the Tampa Bay Lightning. As expected, goaltender Pascal Leclaire will make the start.
Regin and Winchester could both be available to play Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre. Coach Cory Clouston said he's expecting a tough test from the Bolts, who are coming off a 3-2 victory over the Florida Panthers Monday at home.
"They're playing very well," said Clouston today. "They are getting a lot of goals. They cycle the puck in the offensive zone and they're healthy. Last year, at least a quarter of their team was their American Hockey League team when we faced them. They've added a few new players and obviously with (Steve) Stamkos another year older, they’ve played well."
Defenceman Filip Kuba, who has been out for five games with a groin injury, should be ready to skate tomorrow and could return next Thursday against the Nashville Predators.
