The Senators have added another goaltender to their stable, with the signing today of free agent Toronto native Andy Chiodo.

The 26-year-old, who spent last season with Dynamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League, agreed to a one-year, two-way deal. In Russia last season, he posted a 6-11-3 record with a 3.66 goals-against average in 26 games.

Chiodo has limited NHL experience, having played in eight games during the 2003-04 season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he posted a record of 3-4-1 with a 3.42 goals-against-average.

Chiodo was originally chosen in the sixth round of the 2001 NHL draft by the New York Islanders, but re-entered the draft in 2003 and was taken by the Penguins in the seventh round.
