Not knowing where he stands with the Senators is frustrating Brendan Bell.
The Ottawa defenceman, a restricted free agent, has not had any communication with the GM Bryan Murray to this point in the off-season.
"I think I can really help this team and I'd like to be a part of the Sens and the community going forward," Bell said yesterday. "There have been zero discussions so far, which is very disappointing."
Bell, who made $500,000 on the NHL side of his two-way contract last season with the Senators, has drawn interest from Russia. It's believed two teams in the KHL are ready to offer him a contract in the $1.5-million range.
