1. John Tavares, C, London Knights (OHL): The guy has great hands. He's the top player.

2. Victor Hedman, D, Modo (Sweden): The Lightning needs help on the blue line. He's got the skills to pay the bills.

3. Evander Kane, C, Vancouver (WHL): Had a terrific world junior tournament and could be ready to step in next year.

4. Brayden Schenn, C, Brandon (WHL): Younger brother of Maple Leafs' D Luke is a character player who works hard.

5. Matt Duchene, C, Brampton (OHL): Has tremendous skill and had a very strong second half with the Battallion.

6. Oliver Ekman Larsson, D, Leksand (Sweden): Isn't as strong as Hedman, but is considered to be a Nik Lidstrom type.

7. John Moore, D, Chicago (USHL): This blueliner is going to need some time to develop.

8. Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson, LW, Timra (Sweden): He's big and mobile. Has excellent hockey sense. He can dominate.

9. Nazem Kadri, C, London (OHL): He can help a team that doesn't need help in the middle right away.

10. Zack Kassian, RW, Peterborough (OHL): He could go higher. He brings size, skill and smarts.
