Erik Karlsson is bound for Ottawa.

The Senators' top pick in the 2008 NHL entry draft is expected to arrive in the city later today and will attend the club's final two games -- tomorrow against the New Jersey Devils at Scotiabank Place and Saturday vs. the Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre.

While Karlsson, 18, a blueliner, hasn't been signed for next year, his season with the Swedish Frolunda Indians is over and GM Bryan Murray confirmed to Sun Media this morning that he's on his way to Ottawa.

"I just want him to see a couple of games, talk to him about a summer training program and do a physical," Murray told Sun Media.
