SENATORS 3 BRUINS 2

How They Scored

FIRST PERIOD

1. SENS: Winchester sprints up the left wing and into the Bruins zone, where he drops the puck for Schubert. His shot changes direction off Montador's stick and beats Fernandez to the glove side. Sens 1, Bruins 0.

2. SENS: With the Senators shorthanded, Fisher pokes the puck by Chara and speeds by him, breaking in on his backhand, shifting to his forehand and beating Fernandez with a shot to the top corner. Sens 2, Bruins 0.

SECOND PERIOD

3. BRUINS: After Kelly and Volchenkov get their wires crossed and turn the puck over in the corner, Kessel fires it after Auld had stopped a shot. Sens 2, Bruins 1.

4. SENS: On the power play, Heatley takes a pass from Shannon at the top of the right-wing circle and his one-timer squeezes between Fernandez's pads. Sens 3, Bruins 1.

5. BRUINS: On the power play, Chara's high shot from the point through traffic finds the top corner to Auld's right. It looked like it might have touched Recchi's stick on the way in, but, after a video review, the goal stood up. Sens 3, Bruins 2.

THIRD PERIOD

No scoring.

With this team having won two games in a row, Senators coach Cory Clouston opted to go with the same lineup again last night ... The Bruins are a little banged up right now, playing last night without D Dennis Wideman, W P.J. Axelsson and D Andrew Ference.
