How They Scored

No scoring.

1. SENS: On the power play, Comrie and Foligno do some nice work to control the puck down low before Foligno saucers a pass out front to Campoli, who had snuck down from the point. He beats Halak with a low shot from just in front. Sens 1, Habs 0

2. HABS: After a nice neutral zone regroup by the Habs, Koivu feeds the puck to Kovalev breaking in on the right wing and he lets go a shot from the faceoff dot that beats Auld high to the stick side. Sens 1, Habs 1

3. HABS: With just four seconds left in the period, a scramble in the Ottawa zone ends when Hamrlik, with some traffic in front, gets a shot under Auld's glove. Habs 2, Sens 1

4. SENS: After knocking Gorges down in front with a cross-check, Heatley tips Fisher's pass behind Halak. Sens 2, Habs 2

5. SENS: Just 38 seconds after he tied it, Heatley takes a pass from Volchenkov, skates over the line and beats Halak with a wrist shot over the glove. Sens 3, Habs 2

Three Stars

Selected by Chris Stevenson

- Heatley

- Kovalev

- Fisher

Senators coach Cory Clouston opted to go with the same lineup as he did Saturday night against the Flyers, meaning veteran F Shean Donovan was a healthy scratch for the second game in a row ... The Canadiens dressed D Doug Janik -- called up from Hamilton of the AHL -- and D Ryan O'Byrne after D Andrei Markov (leg, three weeks) and D Mathieu Schneider (shoulder, out for the season) went down in Saturday night's win over the Maple Leafs ... Also scratched for the Habs was W Andrei Kostitsyn.
