Boyle waived his no-movement clause ... Won a Stanley Cup with the Bolts in 2004 ... Had wrist surgery last season and only played 37 games ... In 2006-07, he set the Tampa single-season record for goals by a blueliner with 20 ... Inducted into the University of Miami at Ohio Hall of Fame.

NOTE WORTHY

Expect G Evgeni Nabokov to start for the Sharks. Going into last night's game against the Red Wings in Detroit, San Jose had won four straight. Nabokov made 29 saves in a 1-0 victory over the Stars Sunday at the American Airlines Center in Dallas ... The Senators are 8-6-4-2 lifetime vs. the Sharks, and 4-2-4-0 on home ice. The Senators have won four of their last seven games against the Sharks since March 1, 2001 ... The Sharks scored a 3-2 OT victory over the Senators on March 5, 2008, at the HP Pavillion in San Jose. Patrick Marleau scored twice, including the OT winner ... Senators RW Shean Donovan was a second-round pick (No. 28 overall) of the Sharks in the 1993 draft. He played his first 181 career games with San Jose, scoring 25 goals and adding 17 assists.
