2. CANUCKS: After the Canucks win the puck along the boards in the Ottawa zone, Daniel Sedin dekes around Kelly and feeds Henrik at the back door for an easy goal. Canucks 2, Sens 0

3. CANUCKS: With Heatley in the box, Bieksa's shot from the left point changes direction in front of the net and beats Elliott through the pads. Canucks 3, Sens 0

SECOND PERIOD

4. CANUCKS: The Canucks win another battle in the Senators zone and Burrows cuts through the slot around the diving check of Volchenkov. Daniel Sedin beats Phillips to the net and taps the puck behind Elliott. Canucks 4, Sens 0

5. SENATORS: On the power play, Heatley gets a lot of time to pick his spot and with Foligno throwing up a screen in front of Foligno, Heatley wrists it high into the net. Canucks 4, Sens 1

6. SENATORS: Fisher dumps Ohlund in the slot and slides into the Canucks net, bumping Luongo. Phillips fires a wrister by Luongo. Canucks 4, Sens 2

Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson, missing his first game with a fractured jaw, was joined on the outside looking in by D/F Christoph Schubert, a healthy scratch for the seventh straight game, and D Alexandre Picard, who was left out of the lineup after a one-game return from a hand/wrist injury. His place was taken by Brendan Bell.
