BUFFALO -- Senators coach Cory Clouston isn't sure how he's going to use his goalies on this trip, but he repeated again yesterday that both will play.

G Brian Elliott got the start against the Sabres last night, and Clouston wanted to see how he fared before deciding if G Alex Auld will make the start tonight in Philadelphia.

"When you have five games in seven days, you have to use both. We have a Plan A and a Plan B and we're just going to see how things go here," said Clouston.

The Senators inserted RW Shean Donovan into the lineup after he missed eight games with a knee injury. That meant D/LW Christoph Schubert was a healthy scratch. D Alexandre Picard was available to play, but Clouston didn't want to change his blue line with the club coming off a win over the Sabres on Saturday. "Alex Picard understands he has to stay ready," said Clouston ... There were 14 scouts from 13 different teams in at HSBC Arena last night.
