In their final game before the break, the Devils beat the Habs 5-2 in Montreal. It was their fifth straight victory and moved them back into first place in the Atlantic Division ... Senators W Dany Heatley has four goals in his last two games. Five in his last three, if you count the all-star game ... Tonight's game will be the third this season for 40-year-old W Brendan Shanahan, who signed a one-year, $800,000 US contract with the Devils Jan. 15. Shanahan, who is eight games shy of the 1,500 plateau, scored in his debut and took a last-minute penalty his next game ... Devils LW Brian Rolston recently became the 234th NHLer to hit the 1,000-game plateau ... Fewer than 1,250 tickets were still available as of yesterday.
