PHILADELPHIA -- The Senators captain will be on board tonight against the Flyers.

Daniel Alfredsson took part in the morning skate today at the Wachovia Center and he will be in the lineup after leaving Saturday's 5-4 victory over the Dallas Stars with an upper body injury. Winger Dany Heatley, who had a bout with the flu that forced him to miss Monday's workout, will also return.

"It's settled down pretty quick the last two days. I was worried about going on the ice but it felt fine," said Alfredsson this morning.

With Filip Kuba out of the lineup with what's believed to be a groin injury, the Senators will change their defensive pairings. Brendan Bell is going to play with Chris Phillips while Anton Volchenkov is with Alex Picard. Christoph Schubert and Jason Smith will be together.

"Philly and Volchie will play together during the game but we're going to start this way," said coach Craig Hartsburg.
