Senators to face backup

The Senators will be facing a backup goalie for the fifth time when they host the Washington Capitals tonight at Scotiabank Place.

Brent Johnson (1-1-1) will be between the pipes for the Caps as former NHL MVP Jose Theodore gets the night off.

The Senators, who have won just one of five games at The Bank this season, will have the pressing task of keeping Alex Ovechkin in check.

The superstar winger is back with the Caps after missing the past two games while spending time with his ill grandfather in Russia.

Last season, Ovechkin had six goals and four assists versus Ottawa in five games.

Two of his goals were game winners.

Do you think Coyotes players should be punished for their actions after the team’s Game 5 loss to the Kings?
