The Senators continued to stock up for training camp yesterday.

With camp set to open in 10 days, the Senators signed unrestricted free-agent left winger Brad Isbister to a one-year, two-way contract, which includes a minor-league clause if he is sent to the club's AHL affiliate in Binghamton.

The 31-year-old Edmonton native is a 10-year NHL veteran. He suited up for 55 games with the Vancouver Canucks last season and finished with six goals and five assists for 11 points. His career has included stops with the Coyotes, Islanders, Oilers, Bruins, Rangers and Canucks.

The Senators are hoping the big winger, who has played for Team Canada at the 2000 and 2001 world championships, will use his 6-foot-4, 225-lb. frame to push for a spot with the club. He is being brought in for depth, but could have a chance to play for Ottawa.
