NOTEBOOK

Tonight's game will mark the third time this season the Senators will play back-to-back games. They were 2-0-0 in the first games so far this season going into last night's game and 1-1-0 on the backend. Their only loss of the season was that game against Carolina when the Hurricanes were sitting in Ottawa waiting for the game while the Senators were playing in Atlanta ... Opposition defenceman are going to be moving the puck quickly when the Senators' fourth line with wingers Christoph Schubert and Brian McGrattan are on the ice. They both had a couple of big hits on the Bruins' D last night ... Both teams were in a race to the airport last night after the game to charter to Boston. The question was would either team make it? Strong winds were whipping Beantown last night.
