NOTEBOOK

NEW YORK -- A Swedish photographer and reporter showed up for the Senators' morning skate at Madison Square Garden yesterday. The Swedish photog was wondering if captain Daniel Alfredsson would kindly go into the seats at MSG to have his photo taken after he came off the ice. Alfredsson noted that might not work since he was wearing his skates ... Senators coach John Paddock opted not to make any changes to his lineup for last night's game ... The players will have today off, but will be rejoined by injured G Ray Emery (wrist) and C Dean McAmmond (concussion/shoulder) for practice tomorrow at Scotiabank Place ... The Rangers brought in C Dave Scatchard for a tryout, but he may be sent to the club's American Hockey League affiliate in Hartford.
