The Ottawa Senators are going back to Ray Emery.

Emery will make the start in net Saturday night ahead of Martin Gerber as the Senators try to end their four-game home losing skid against the New Jersey Devils. Emery had played the two games prior to Thursday's 2-1 loss to Colorado, going 1-1 as the team's offence sputtered and the power play completely disappeared.

In other news out of today's practice, the club will be without winger Peter Schaefer, who wasn't on the ice today because of a hip flexor injury. It's expected tough guy Brian McGrattan will return to the lineup in his place.

"I want Schaefer to stay off the ice until he's 100% and he can help this team," said Senators coach Bryan Murray.

Murray also shook up all his line combinations in an attempt to find at least one trio that can produce some goals.

Ottawa GM John Muckler held court with reporters and maintained it's up to this group of players to get the job done. In other words, he's not planning an airlift or deal to get the team out of its early-season (2-4 record, just 11 goals-for) funk.

"We are in a slump and it's up to this group to find a way out of it," said Muckler.
