NOTES

TORONTO -- Senators coach Bryan Murray toyed with the idea of inserting tough guy Brian McGrattan in the lineup against the Leafs, but decided at the last minute to make him a healthy scratch. McGrattan took part in the warmup, but Murray wanted to start looking at line combinations for the playoffs ... Acquired at the March 9 NHL trade deadline from Chicago, C Tyler Arnason was a healthy scratch. "He hasn't scored and we need him to start contributing," said Murray. "We just want him to watch from the press box and see what is happening out there. Then, we can sit down and talk about it." ... G Dominik Hasek looked better in practice yesterday and is still targeting a return for Tuesday against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden in the Senators' regular-season finale.
