Some things worth noting ...

THIRTY (FOUR) MINUTES AND IT'S FREE: Senators forward Mike Fisher joined Daniel Alfredsson and Bryan Smolinski atop the Delivery Boys standings, scoring the free-slicing winning sixth goal (at the 34:07 mark of the game) on an all-dressed effort which included a pretty, breakaway pass from defenceman Wade "Roses R" Redden and putting a nice move on Maple Leafs goalie Ed Belfour before going "cheese" with a backhand. With one delivery to their credit are Chris "Knuckles" Neil, Dany Heatley, Brian Pothier and Antonine "Nicest Guy You've Ev" Vermette.

NOTHING BUT THE FACTS: "To have any success in this business, goaltending is really the key," Leafs coach Pat Quinn was saying yesterday morning. "We have benefitted from solid goaltending, and we will again." The Senators first goal last night came off a brutal Nik Antropov giveaway. Peter Schaefer scored after Fisher was allowed to breeze between two defencemen. Alfredsson's goal came on a breakaway, as was the first goal by Fisher, who also got behind Toronto blueliners to score his second one of the night. Bottom line is, we don't know for sure about Belfour, but the Leafs really do suck.
