NOTES:

Senators RW Brandon Bochenski, who was out for a month with a shoulder injury, returned to the lineup a couple of weeks earlier than expected. Bochenski said he was feeling good and ready to go and was happy to be back so quickly. Originally, there was a belief that Bochenski could be out of the lineup 6-8 weeks, but he worked hard with assistant coach Randy Lee and was buoyed by skating with captain Daniel Alfredsson last week while Alfredsson was out with a cracked rib. "It was good to have a chance to skate with him," said Bochenski ... The Sharks' scouting staff was all in attendance last night. Sharks GM Doug Wilson is holding his mid-season meetings with the staff to rate players for the NHL entry draft to be held in Vancouver in June.

Sun Rating: 3 1/2 out of 5
