NOTES

With the return of captain Daniel Alfredsson to the lineup last night, the Senators returned F Steve Martins to AHL Binghamton ... St-Isidore's Benoit Pouliot was honoured before last night's game for helping Team Canada win the gold at the world junior championship. Pouliot, who plays for the OHL's Sudbury Wolves, got a nice ovation from the Corel Centre crowd ... Phoenix D Sean O'Donnell picked up his third instigator penalty of the season in the second period when he tangled with Ottawa's Chris Neil. That means a two-game suspension for O'Donnell.

Sun Rating: 3 out of 5
