NOTES:

TAMPA, FLA., - Senators C Mike Fisher continues to be sidelined by a shoulder injury and could have a difficult time getting back into the lineup even when he is ready. The club recalled F Patrick Eaves from their AHL affiliate in Binghamton and coach Bryan Murray made it pretty clear following yesterday's morning skate that Fisher is going to have to work his way back in. "If Eaves is playing well, he's going to stay in the lineup," said Murray ... Lightning veteran Chris Dingman returned to the lineup last night as the club decided to dress only five defencemen with D Paul Ranger out. Dingman was a healthy scratch, along with F Martin Cibak, on Thursday in Atlanta. "Those guys didn't play because they weren't listening," said Tampa coach John Tortorella ... Since they won't be playing tonight in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the Senators will practise today and tomorrow in Raleigh, N.C. The club had planned an off-ice workout tomorrow, but changed its schedule.
