FIRST PERIOD

1. SENS: Fisher dishes to Havlat just outside the blue line and Havlat cruises toward the goal before firing a low wrister and beating Danis on the far side. SENS 1, HABS 0

SECOND PERIOD

2. SENS: As he glides through the left wing faceoff circle, Alfredsson's backhand pass is whipped into the open side by Havlat. SENS 2, HABS 0

3. HABS: Bonk fends off Schaefer at the Ottawa line and shuffles a pass to Plekanec, who beats Hasek with a shot to the stick side that may have grazed Chara's stick on the way in. SENS 2, HABS 1

4. HABS: Senators stand around and watch as Ribeiro bangs home a rebound of a close-in chance by Dagenais. SENS 2, HABS 2

THIRD PERIOD

5. HABS: A Kovalev shot from the left wing circle gets past Phillips and beats Hasek on the far side. HABS 3, SENS 2

6. HABS: Plekanec shovels to Zednik on the left wing and he beats Hasek with a soft shot to the stick side from in close. HABS 4, SENS 2

7. SENS: Stepping out from the corner, Heatley tries to pass out front but the pucks hits a defenceman. He gets after it himself and beats Danis on the short side. HABS 4, SENS 3

8. HABS: Ryder steps around Phillips at the Montreal blue line, streaks in on Hasek and slides the puck in after deking to his backhand. HABS 5, SENS 3

9. HABS: With Hasek on the bench for an extra attacker, Higgins flips the puck into the empty net from just over the centre-ice line. HABS 6, SENS 3
