G Dominik Hasek is going to play the entire game tomorrow night against the Sabres in Buffalo. It will the first time Hasek has played a full game since he left the Red Wings during the 2004 season. Senators GM John Muckler is convinced he's ready for the next step. "Look, there are going to be questions about Dominik Hasek every day. How does he look? Was he very good last night? Is he too old? I've been very pleased with the way Dominik has performed and he's been ahead of where I thought he might be at this point. The thing I've learned in this business over the years is you can never get too high and you can never get too low. You've always got to stay on an even keel," said Muckler.

SENATORS GET TO ENJOY RARE DAY OFF

Senators coach Bryan Murray gave the 26 players remaining in camp yesterday off. Murray wants the players to recharge their batteries with four pre-season games left -- including a visit by the Penguins to the Corel Centre on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and the Canadiens on Saturday.
