TORONTO -- The Senators' barn will host a pair of farm teams in January.

The Senators confirmed yesterday their AHL affiliate in Binghamton will face off against Toronto Maple Leafs affiliate St. John's on Jan. 22 (7 p.m.) at the Corel Centre.

The game was originally scheduled for the Broome County Arena in Binghamton, but Senators president Roy Mlakar asked Baby Sens officials to move the game to give Ottawa fans a chance to see some pro hockey.

Last week at the Air Canada Centre, the two teams were involved in a spirited two-game series, which saw a brawl erupt in the second period of Game 2. St. John's won both games 3-2 and 4-2, respectively.

"Seeing the excitement and enthusiasm of the record crowds at the Air Canada Centre, and how the rivalry has rubbed off, it seemed only natural for us to bring this matchup to the Corel Centre," said Mlakar.

The game will also give Ottawa hockey fans a chance to get a glimpse of Senators prospects Jason Spezza, Antoine Vermette, Brian Pothier and Anton Volchenkov, who were all assigned to Binghamton before the NHL lockout started.

Tickets will go on sale Dec. 20 at noon and are priced at $22 (100 level), $17 (200) and $14 (300). Seniors and children receive $2 discounts in all price ranges.
