Newark, NJ - New Jersey Devils forward Zach Parise is expected to return to the lineup Saturday night against the Montreal Canadiens.

Parise has missed the last 65 games after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee on November 2, three days after he left a game against Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old started skating on his own on March 3, then began practicing with the team on March 24.

Parise, who registered three goals and six points in 12 games before the injury, rejoins a New Jersey club that is on the verge of officially being eliminated from the playoffs.

With five games left in the regular season, the Devils are 10 points in back of Buffalo and the New York Rangers for the Eastern Conference's final postseason spots.
