Newark, NJ – The slumping New Jersey Devils have goaltender Martin Brodeur and left wing Brian Rolston back in the lineup for Friday's game against Edmonton.

Brodeur had missed the last two games because of a bruised elbow, an injury he sustained in a November 3 game against Chicago. He had a record of just 3-8-1 with a 2.70 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage entering Friday's action.

Rolston had missed 14 games after undergoing surgery for a sports hernia in mid-October. He played just two games before the procedure.

Meanwhile, captain Jamie Langenbrunner was out for the game as he took a hard hit in Wednesday's game against Buffalo and missed practice on Thursday and Friday.

Langenbrunner is tied for the team lead with nine points in 16 games this season.
