AGE: 29 HT: 6-foot-1 WT: 195 lbs.

2005-06 STATS: 22 GP 7 G 18 A 25 PTS 10 PIMs

THE SKINNY: Was the Devils' No. 2 choice (51st overall) in the 1994 NHL draft ... Played parts of last season in Russia and the Czech Republic ... Has seen only limited action this season after missing the early part of the year with Hepatitis ... Was one of just three New Jersey players -- Sergei Brylin and Jay Pandolfo were the others -- to play all 82 games during the 2003-04 campaign ... Has five goals and seven assists in 25 career games against the Senators ... Has played in two NHL all-star games during his career.

NOTEWORTHY...

Expect to see G Ray Emery make the start against the Devils tonight. Injured G Dominik Hasek skated for the third straight day with conditioning coach Randy Lee yesterday, but isn't ready to put on full equipment ... New Jersey G Martin Brodeur was pulled in two straight games before the club's 2-1 victory over the Penguins on Thursday. There were suggestions that Brodeur needed some rest, but the Devils dismissed the criticism. "It wasn't fair," said New Jersey's Brian Gionta. "We didn't help him out in those two games. He faced too many scoring chances. It wasn't him." ... The Devils allowed only 14 shots vs. the Penguins ... This will be the third game of the season between the Senators and Devils. Ottawa scored a 5-4 win over the Devils on Nov. 19 in Ottawa and dropped a 5-3 decision at Continental Airlines Arena on Feb. 1 ... The Senators chartered to New York immediately after last night's 4-2 victory over the Sabres.
