OTTAWA - The "dream home" of Ottawa's fairy tale couple is officially off the market.

The custom-built Carp mansion that once belonged to former Senators fan-favourite Mike Fisher and his country superstar beau Carrie Underwood was sold after spending about seven months in agent Paul Rushforth's stable of properties.

"They're a very private family so we had to respect their wishes as best as we could, but obviously we knew it was going to get out there," said Rushforth, who tweeted the news to the happy couple on Wednesday afternoon.

The couple briefly lived in the home -- on a rugged 11-acre wooded plot at 1135 Spruce Ridge Rd. near Carp -- in late 2010, before Fisher was traded to the Nashville Predators on Feb. 10, 2011.
