Toronto - Nashville Predators forward Jordin Tootoo has entered into the National Hockey League's substance abuse and behavioral health program.

Canada's National Post reported Monday afternoon that the 27-year-old native of Manitoba did so on a voluntary basis.

According to the site, Tootoo will continue to receive his full salary and benefits as long as he is in compliance with the program's course of treatment and after-care regimen.

He posted four goals and six assists in 32 games for the Preds this season.
