NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Nashville Predators agreed to terms with defenceman Aaron Johnson on a one-year, two-way contract on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old blueliner appeared in 41 games between Calgary and Edmonton in 2009-10 and registered a career-high four goals with 10 points, which tied a career-best.

Originally a third-round pick by Columbus in 2001, Johnson has totaled 14 goals and 32 helpers with a plus-13 rating in 225 career contests with Calgary, Edmonton, Chicago, the Islanders and Blue Jackets.
