Rangers agree to terms with first-round pick

NEW YORK - The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with forward J.T. Miller, the club's first-round pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Miller was selected with the 15th overall pick of June's draft. He has played the past two seasons for the United States National Under-18 team, registering 11 goals and 26 assists for 37 points in 48 games during the 2010-11 campaign.
The 18-year-old native of Ohio also led Team USA in scoring with 13 points in six tournament games en route to capturing the gold medal at the 2011 IIHF U-18 World Junior Championship in Germany.
