NEW YORK - The New York Rangers announced on their official Twitter account that forward Brandon Dubinsky has agreed to terms on a contract.

The new deal will reportedly pay Dubinsky, who was scheduled to have an arbitration hearing Thursday, $4.2 million in each of the next four years.

Dubinsky, 25, led the club last season in goals (24), assists (30) and points (54), establishing career highs in each category. He added two goals and an assist in New York's first-round playoff loss to the Washington Capitals.

The Rangers' second-round selection (60th overall) in the 2004 draft, Dubinsky has registered 71 goals and 108 assists in 316 career games.

Should the New York Rangers buy out Brad Richards after benching him in Game 4?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
  No.
