Rangers agree to terms with Boyle

NEW YORK -- The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with forward Brian Boyle on a new contract.

Boyle played in all 82 games last season with the Rangers, setting career-highs in goals (21), assists (14), points (35) and power-play goals (4). In five playoff games, the 26-year-old led the team with 25 shots.

The Massachusetts native has played in 189 career NHL games with the Rangers and Los Angeles Kings, totaling 33 goals and 18 assists.
