NEW YORK -- New York Rangers goaltender Martin Biron is out indefinitely with a fractured collarbone.

The club made the announcement Monday afternoon via their Twitter account, saying Biron suffered the injury at practice.

Goaltender Cam Talbot has been recalled from Connecticut of the American Hockey League to fill the roster spot.

Signed as a free agent on July 1, the 33-year-old Biron went 8-6-0 with a 2.13 goals-against average in 17 games (15 starts) for New York this season.

Would Patrick Roy make a good coach for the Colorado Avalanche?
  Yes, he's perfect
  No, he's not ready
  Bring him to Montreal!
