NEW YORK -- New York Rangers captain Chris Drury is expected to be sidelined six weeks with a left knee injury that will require surgery, according to a story on NHL.com.

The 34-year-old has been limited to 23 games this season because of a finger that he broke twice, but in different spots.

Drury, who has not played since February 3, has just four assists.

Would Patrick Roy make a good coach for the Colorado Avalanche?
  Yes, he's perfect
