Uniondale, NY - The New York Islanders waived forward Brian Rolston on Saturday.

Rolston registered four goals and nine points in 49 games played with the Islanders this season.

In 1,235 career games with the Devils, Avalanche, Wild, Bruins and Islanders, the 39-year-old Rolston has notched 339 goals and 746 points.

The Islanders recalled forward David Ullstrom from Bridgeport (AHL) to take Rolston's place on the active roster.
