Bailey called back up to Islanders

UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- The New York Islanders recalled forward Josh Bailey from Bridgeport of the American Hockey League on Wednesday.

Bailey was sent down to the minors late last month after recording only three goals and three assists in the first 18 games of the season.

The demotion appeared to spark something in Bailey, who netted six goals to go with 11 assists in just 11 games with the Sound Tigers.

The 21-year-old and ninth overall selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft has tallied 26 goals and 40 assists in 159 career NHL games.

Do you think Coyotes players should be punished for their actions after the team’s Game 5 loss to the Kings?
