The Boston Bruins let the dogs out on Saturday night beating the Montreal Canadiens 5-3.

And in an unfortunate coincidence, two of Carey Price’s own pooches went missing.

Price, the Canadiens’ starting goalie, tweeted early Monday morning asking for help finding his two lost Labrador retrievers, “If anyone finds two labs running around Candiac they’re mine.”

Candiac is a suburb south of Montreal.

TSN 690 in Montreal reported that a caller named John Mastromonaco, who heard that Price had lost his dogs on their radio show, actually found the labs and returned them.

“I don’t know if they’re his dogs, but I’m in Candiac,” he told TSN 690 on Monday morning. “One’s name is Duke and one is Motty, they just came to me and are sitting next to me.

“They had his number on the tags, his wife picked up the phone,” Mastromonaco told TSN radio host Shaun Starr. “I just told her I think I found your dogs, I just said I could bring the dogs over, I’m five minutes away.

“She was very happy that I found them.”

Mastromonaco received an autographed stick from the Habs netminder, according to TSN 690.

The Canadiens and Bruins are tied 1-1 in the Eastern Conference semifinal, with Game 3 set to go Tuesday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
