The Montreal Canadiens do not have a date in mind for the return of injured starting netminder Carey Price.

The Olympic gold-medal winning goaltender with Team Canada has not played since returning from Sochi, Russia in late February.

Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin said Thursday as long as Price is not 100% he will not participate in practices. He was also tight-lipped when asked about the nature of the injury.

"He already had this injury, which did not prevent him from performing (in Sochi)," Bergevin said at a press conference for next year's World Junior Hockey Championship. "It got worse after the Olympics. We are managing the situation as best as we can."

Price's backups Peter Budaj and Dustin Tokarski, from Hamilton of the AHL, may be called upon to finish out the season for the Habs, who have 15 games remaining.

Without Price, the Habs are 3-4-1 and currently sit fourth in the Eastern Conference.
