Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin and Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby are pretty formidable back-to-back competition, never mind on consecutive nights.

But the Montreal Canadiens, a team from which you never know quite what to expect this season, completed the sweep of the NHL superstars Saturday night, taking advantage of some suspect goaltending by Pittsburgh Penguins ’keeper Marc-Andre Fleury in their 3-2 win.

The Canadiens got a pair of goals from the suddenly sizzling Max Pacioretty, who now has five goals in his last three games.
