If P.K. Subban's not an impact player, who is?
By CHRIS STEVENSON, QMI Agency
MONTREAL - It has been a quieter – but not gentler – P.K. Subban this season on the Montreal Canadiens blueline. You can close your eyes and hear the Canadiens defenceman’s game, if not his voice, which, for the most part, has become noticeably absent in the soundtrack of this remarkable Canadiens season. In the second period of Wednesday’s game against the Ottawa Senators at the Bell Centre, Subban lined up defenceman Andre Benoit as he came down the right side of the ice and hit him with what has become a typical Subban hit: a violent collision that sees him lead with his large backside.
