Canadiens give Eller two-year deal

MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens signed forward Lars Eller to a two-year contract Friday.

The deal is reportedly worth $2.65-million overall.

Eller set career-highs in games played (79), goals (16), assists (12) and points (28) last season with the Canadiens.

In 163 career NHL games with St. Louis and Montreal, Eller has 25 goals and 22 assists to go along with 118 penalty minutes.
