Montreal signs Armstrong
Gets paid by both Leafs, Habs

Colby Armstrong will cash cheques from two bitter rivals next season.
The 29-year-old right winger signed a one-year, $1-million contract with the Montreal Canadiens Sunday. He will earn the same amount from the Toronto Maple Leafs after his contract was bought out Saturday.
Armstrong, who has played under Habs coach Michel Therrien before, first in the AHL and then with the Pittsburgh Penguins, announced the news on Twitter.
"I am so happy to have just agreed to a one year deal with Montreal," Armstrong tweeted. "So pumped. My fav childhood team."
After he recorded three points in 29 games for the Leafs last season, the club decided to buy out the last year of Armstrong's three-year, $9-million contract he signed in 2010. He will be on Toronto's books for the next two seasons at $1 million each.
In 439 games with three NHL teams, Armstrong has 87 goals and 117 assists.
