Gionta has surgery on bicep
By QMI Agency

Brian Gionta (QMI Agency)

Montreal Canadiens captain Brian Gionta underwent surgery to repair a tear in his right bicep muscle Wednesday.

Gionta was hurt Tuesday during the third period of a loss to the St. Louis Blues.

Canadiens general manager Pierre Gauthier announced that Gionta had surgery in Montreal but did not indicate how long the veteran forward would be out of the lineup. Gionta had played just two games after coming back from a groin injury that kept him out a month.

In 31 games this season, the soon-to-be 33-year-old has eight goals and seven assists.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
