The Montreal Canadiens' drive for the playoffs has taken a hit, as offensive-minded forwards Michael Cammalleri and Max Pacioretty are expected to be sidelined four to six weeks.

QMI Agency has learned from a source within the organization that Cammalleri has a dislocated shoulder and Pacioretty has bruised ribs.

Both players were hurt during the first five minutes of the game Tuesday between the Canadiens and Sabres in Buffalo.

The Canadiens have recalled centre Andreas Engqvist from the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL.

The 23-year-old Swede has six goals and eight assists in 38 games with the Bulldogs this season.
