CHICAGO -- In less than 27 hours, the Los Angeles Kings went from looking capable of defending their Stanley Cup title to being on the verge of becoming yesterday's news.

Two losses on consecutive nights will do that to a squad, even the one holding the championship belt.

Yet, as the Western Conference final heads to Los Angeles for Tuesday's Game 3, the Kings find themselves down 2-0 to the Chicago Blackhawks, after being beaten from pillar to post in the second outing -- that 4-2 score was flattering -- and looking for any form of a spark to get back into the best-of-seven series.

The Blackhawks are looking unbeatable right now, but the adage goes a series isn't determined until a team loses at home. So, with the series headed to Los Angeles, where the Kings have won all seven playoff games this spring, it could be far from over.
